Doo-wop pendant light by Louis Poulsen, Set of 2
Louis Poulsen for Louis Poulsen
Design: 1950s | Manufactured: 1970s
The Doo-Wop was originally designed for the Navy Buildings Department in Denmark in the 1950s. It is a simple, yet striking design which provides a comfortable, diffused and glare-free light (because of the way the shades are positioned), which directs the majority of the light downward. However, the out reflector also provides light upwards.
It was taken out of production in the early 1980s after which it was reintroduced in 2012. The set offered here is original and thus from before the 1980s. The shades are spun by hand.
