‘Little Beaver’ limited edition by Frank Gehry 1:3 Vitra Miniature Model
Frank Gehry for Vitra Design Museum
Design: 1990s | Manufactured: 1996

Produced as a limited edition (less than 250 pieces made) at a 1:3 scale, Frank Gehry’s iconic ‘Little Beaver’ chair is essential to any design collector’s collection. The full-size version of this chair was manufactured by Vitra from 1987 to 1999. Part of Gehry’s 1972 Easy Edges series—known for its entire cardboard construction, including the renowned ‘Wiggle’ chair—’Little Beaver’ is particularly distinctive due to its chewed, rugged aesthetic.
This miniature also exists in a 1:6 scale version, though the 1:3 is even rarer. It comes in the original protective wood box.
